One paragraph describing what the machine or process should accomplish.

2. I/O list

List every input and output with type, purpose, and simulated/real status.

3. Sequence of operation

Describe normal operation in numbered steps before showing code.

4. Control architecture

Show PLC, HMI, drives, remote I/O, switches, sensors, and actuators in a simple diagram.

5. Program structure

Explain routines/blocks, tag naming, state logic, alarms, and reusable objects.

6. Safety assumptions

State what is only a training simulation and what a real machine would require in risk assessment and safety design.

7. Fault tests

Document at least three faults, expected behavior, observed behavior, and fix.

8. Evidence

Include screenshots, a short video, drawings, test notes, and a concise explanation of your own contribution.

9. Lessons learned

Write what you would change if you rebuilt the project.

10. Interview summary

Prepare a 90-second explanation of the project and one five-minute deep dive.
